Evening at Blue Springs

Our first Scout camp since February 2020 and my last for a while. It was a pretty nice and healing weekend at Blue Springs Scout Reserve with my new Scouts.

The geese around here are organizing. The noise draws the eye, that’s for certain. Kind of a pleasant sound. They aren’t headed out yet. Seems like they’re rehearsing. Leaving soon I’m sure.

Down in the valley

Went hiking with my Sea Scouts yesterday. We started at Beechwood Drive and made our way south to Corktown Common. Along the way we identified some trees and wildflowers. We sat at the weir above… Down in the valley
