Down in the valley

Went hiking with my Sea Scouts yesterday. We started at Beechwood Drive and made our way south to Corktown Common.

Along the way we identified some trees and wildflowers. We sat at the weir above Pottery road for a bit but didn’t see any fish jumping.

We stopped to do a little whittling at the monster stones by the Prince Edward Viaduct before making our way home. I’m grateful to the thoughtful and interesting young Scouts who accompanied me.
