Been trying to spend as many Friday nights as possible on the boat. The Scouts are camping on Snake Island this weekend and I don’t quite feel up to sleeping that far from a bathroom, so I’m over here at QCYC on Uksw-Lookskw, my Grampian 26.
I usually walk over to the Island Café but it doesn’t open till 8:30am and it’s a wet morning anyway. So, here I am snug in the lounge/galley sipping moka-pot coffee and prepping myself to face a site full of wet Scouts. Feeling slightly guilty, but I have to keep myself afloat to be useful to others.
