A macchiato is a very simple drink. Maybe that’s why so many places want to make it complicated. This kind of cortado-ish thing is an all too frequent result of ordering a macchiato. This is after trying to be explicit. I do manage to avoid the Starbucks caramel-thing, but so many shops are in love with milk rather than coffee. The espresso is inoffensive, just too much milk. Nice space. Good sandwich. Nice town, Kamloops.
