Home port

“Gulls over Boston Harbour” by Angus Macdonald was a painting that hung in my grandparents’ house for as long as I can remember. Angus was a close friend of theirs and a stained glass artist. My grandparents were one of the anchors in my life and the painting has always been dear to me. Thanks so much to Judy for returning it to the family.

This is the other Angus MacDonald painting I have the joy of displaying. I don’t know the title, but I love the urban vitality he captures in this image of his life partner, actor Louise Nicol, on a moped in London traffic.
