I worried that it might be too much. I know, you\u2019re thinking that I\u2019m not known for my restraint, but honestly I live with a bag of fears about how I will be perceived\u2014just like everyone else. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With my family gone west ahead of me, I made time to do it. I tamped down my fears and decided to just go for it. It took far longer than I expected\u2014it\u2019s been a long time since I painted and I forgot how much work it is. I am so glad I did it. I am feeling excited and inspired by my space now and by hanging those photos in a more cohesive way. I really want to be in my studio now and create things.
