{"id":2490,"date":"2022-09-07T15:50:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-07T19:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mm.kapn.net\/?p=2490"},"modified":"2022-09-08T07:50:53","modified_gmt":"2022-09-08T11:50:53","slug":"port-dalhousie-pretend-vacation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mm.kapn.net\/index.php\/2022\/09\/07\/port-dalhousie-pretend-vacation\/","title":{"rendered":"Port Dalhousie pretend vacation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I did a bad job of telling my clients I\u2019d be away so I\u2019m still kinda working as we sail around the end of the lake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My brain seems to be mush in this aftermath of cancer treatment and various other related surgeries and I don\u2019t even know what anymore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the beginning of a year where I plan to limit my list of responsibilities to paid work for the most part and try to get my head and body back together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t know if I\u2019d want to live in Port Dalhousie, but I like it here in the port. There are better cafes than Balzac\u2019s but no better cafe chain right now IMO. the port here is lovely. Geared to tourists to some extent, but I guess that\u2019s what I am right now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Happy to chill for a bit before supper in the boat with Beth and Dave and an unavoidable meeting online afterwards. Ah well.
